New Brunswick is known as the Picture Province and is the most western province in Atlantic Canada. It has several different geographic areas that attract people worldwide. The eastern region is fairly flat but entirely coastal with many beautiful beaches on the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the Northumberland Straight and the Bay of Fundy. The southern and northern terrains are quite rugged and mountainous and the central part of the province has the St. John River Valley. Residents of New Brunswick enjoy the best of hiking, white water rafting, fresh water and ocean fishing and beach combing.
