The Location

Bear River, known as the Switzerland of Nova Scotia, is a very popular destination and is home to artisans, vineyards and wineries.

Bear River is a 20 minute drive to the town of Digby with its small quaint shops, big box stores, restaurants with fresh seafood daily (World Famous Digby Scallops), fesitvals and more plus, the ferry to Saint John, New Brunswick. Bear River is a 15 minute drive to Annapolis Royal with its historic properties, forts and Farmers Market.

From Holly Hill you are 1.5 hours from the ferries that sail from Yarmouth to Bar Harbour and Portland, Maine in the United States.
